Parent and Pupil Code of Conduct
At Bromsgrove Cambodia, we are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This Code of Conduct outlines our shared expectations for parents and pupils, ensuring a collaborative partnership that fosters respect, responsibility, and excellence in all aspects of school life.
1- Parent Code of Conduct
1.1 Partnership and Communication
- Support your child’s learning journey by staying informed and engaged with school activities, events, and updates.
- Communicate respectfully and constructively with teachers, staff, and other parents, modelling positive behaviours and attitudes.
- Use designated communication channels, such as email or parent portals, for questions or concerns, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
1.2 Respect for Policies and Procedures
- Adhere to school policies, including those related to attendance, punctuality, uniform, and healthy eating.
- Follow drop-off and pick-up procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
- Ensure that all fees are paid on time and address any financial matters directly with the school administration.
1.3 Support for School Values
- Promote the school’s core values of compassion, tolerance, humility, confidence, respect, curiosity, integrity, responsibility, resilience, and adaptability at home and in the wider community.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and school events to strengthen the home-school partnership.
- Encourage your child’s participation in school activities and celebrate their efforts and achievements.
1.4 Safeguarding and Child Protection
- Share any relevant information about your child’s health, well-being, or special needs with the school to enable appropriate support.
- Respect the school’s safeguarding procedures, including visitor protocols and restricted access to certain areas.
- Ensure online interactions involving school activities are respectful and maintain the privacy of other children and families.

2.1 Respect and Kindness
- Treat classmates, teachers, and staff with respect, kindness, and fairness.
- Use polite and respectful language at all times.
- Respect the property of others, including school materials and equipment.
2.2 Responsibility and Safety
- Follow school rules and listen to instructions from teachers and staff.
- Take responsibility for your actions and make safe and positive choices.
- Use school resources, including technology, responsibly and for educational purposes only.
2.3 Commitment to Learning
- Come to school ready to learn, with all necessary materials and a positive attitude.
- Complete classwork and homework to the best of your ability.
- Participate actively in lessons, asking questions and sharing ideas.
2.4 Inclusion and Teamwork
- Be welcoming and inclusive, celebrating the diversity of our school community.
- Work collaboratively with peers, supporting each other’s learning and growth.
- Speak up against bullying or unkind behaviour, whether in person or online.

- 4. Consequences for Breaches
4.1 Parents
- Instances of disrespectful or disruptive behaviour may result in a meeting with school leadership and, in serious cases, restrictions on participation in school activities.
4.2 Pupils
- Minor infractions will be addressed through restorative practices, such as discussions and reflections.
- Repeated or serious breaches may lead to further consequences, including parental involvement, temporary loss of privileges, or, in extreme cases, suspension or expulsion.
By working together and adhering to this Code of Conduct, we ensure that Bromsgrove Cambodia remains a nurturing and high-achieving environment for all.
